North Grenville, ON – On Friday, local MPP Steve Clark met with Mayor Nancy Peckford as the municipality announced the completion of the multi-use pathway at Riverside Park, which made possible thanks to a $100,000 Resilient Communities Fund grant from the provincial government’s Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF). This funding has significantly enhanced the park, providing improved amenities and greater accessibility for the community.

North Grenville, ON – North Grenville’s on-demand transit service, NGtransit, is proud to celebrate its six-month milestone. Since its inception, NGtransit has successfully facilitated nearly 4,200 rides, maintaining an impressive average passenger rating of 4.5 out of 5. The service has predominantly catered to adults, who comprise 82% of the ridership, while youth account for 16%. In alignment with Council’s objectives, the Municipality is undertaking a comprehensive mid-year assessment of the NGtransit program to guide future planning and enhancements.
Notice: Public Works Department is constructing a gravel walking pathway approximately 2.4-metres-wide that connects Cranberry Crescent and Galens Way. This project is part of the approved 2024 Capital Budget. The work should be finalized prior to the start of September. This area will temporarily be inaccessible while the pathway is being constructed. Inclement weather may cause a delay to the completion date.
North Grenville, ON – The Municipality of North Grenville is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Carly Wheeler as the new Director of Finance. Ms. Wheeler brings with her a wealth of experience and expertise in municipal finance, having most recently served as Treasurer at the Township of North Stormont.
Please be advised that there may be occasional short periods of traffic slow downs and/or lane closures to allow for large trucks to deliver materials to the Kemptville Creek Bridge. These closures will be between Kemptville Retirement Living and the Creek Side Plaza and are expected to continue intermittently until summer 2025 (date is subject to change based on bridge construction progress).
R.W Tomlinson Limited advises that construction will require a ramp closure commencing on Monday, July 15, 2024, for the County Road 43 westbound on-ramp at Highway 416 northbound for a duration of 14 days (see full PDF attachment here).
Public Meeting Concerning Proposed Zoning By-Law Amendments ZBA-09-24 on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. has been rescheduled to Wednesday, August 14, 2024. This meeting will be held in Council Chambers (285 County Road 44, Kemptville) and will be live streamed on YouTube commencing at approximately 6:30 p.m.
