Tax Due Dates
Property owners in North Grenville will receive property tax bills twice a year with three billing due dates; the Interim Bill is mailed to property owners in the first week of March and the Final Tax Bill is mailed out in the first week of June.
Interim Billing

If you are making a payment after the bill due date, your payment will be subject to a late payment penalty.
Why is there a convenience fee & how much is it?
The convenience fee only applies when processing your credit card payment online with the Municipality of North Grenville. The convenience fee is added to help cover the processing fees that the credit card company charges. Therefore, to be fair to all customers, we have to ensure that the users of the credit card service pay for the service. The convenience fee charge will be 1.75% of the total payment.

Burn Permit
Open air fires are permitted, except in specified locations, provided you have a valid permit. Burn permits are conditional and can be revoked at any time. If you are a tenant, you must obtain permission from the property owner.

Dog Licence
All dogs in the Municipality of North Grenville must be registered and must wear a numbered metal tag.
Dog licences are valid until December 31st in the year of purchase.
How much does a licence cost?
$15 annually if purchased or renewed before March 31st, $30 if purchased later in the year.
What method of payment is available online?
You can purchase or renew your licence online using a credit or VISA debit card, or via PayPal.
What is the fee for a replacement tag?
A $7 fee applies for replacement tags.

Parking Ticket
Please be advised that parking on Municipal roads is prohibited between 11:00pm and 8:00am from November 15 to April 15. A vehicle which is parked in a manner interfering with snow clearing or removal operations may be issued a ticket and/or removed at the owner's expense.
Please note that parking in any Municipal owned parking lot is prohibited between 11:00pm and 7:00am year round.
