December 28 marks the fourth annual Kemptville Christmas Bird Count. A group of volunteers will be documenting all the birds they can find within a 24 km wide circle covering Kemptville, Burritts Rapids, Marlborough Forest, etc. Volunteers will be out walking and driving, using binoculars and cameras to document winter bird populations.

Here's what you can do to help: fill your bird feeders in the weeks leading up to the count. This vastly improves success rates  of finding birds at reliable feeding areas. Additionally, you can volunteer to be a feeder watcher as part of the count!
