Blue Moon presents singer/songwriter Bob Wiseman live in concert. Bob co-founded Blue Rodeo, with whom he won 5 Juno awards, before going solo and releasing a string of celebrated albums. Bob is a songwriter, guitarist, pianist, and unique creative catalyst who never disappoints.
In addition to his own music, Bob produced Ron Sexsmith’s first album, toured internationally with both Feist and Scott Thompson of Kids in the Hall, and has performed with Wilco, Ashley MacIsaac, Mary Margaret O’Hara, Garland Jeffries, and Serena Ryder, among many others. His first book, Music Lessons, was called “wildly entertaining” by the Globe and Mail. The list of his artistic accomplishments goes on and on.
Bob Wiseman’s music is lyrical, original, clever, funny, moving and deep. He only rarely appears live these days but he has agreed to share his beautiful songs and hilarious tales with us for one night only in Burritts Rapids. Don’t miss it!
Sax player and poet John Sobol will be opening for Bob, and the pair will also play a tune or two together. John has performed at music and spoken word festival across Canada.
